If Rick Springfield and Bruce Springsteen teamed up, the result could very well be the debut album "Melody Records" from American rock band The Mylars. This is a really great album with a perfect blend of power pop and heartland rock, the first single "Forever done" is just one of 9 classic rock songs that belong on a playlist together with John Mellencamp, Waltham, Danny Wilde and Marvelous 3."

Their album Melody Records was released on 15th September 2017 and is a testament to their hard work ethic. It is full of feel good songs that beckon to you to join in, and having two vocalists in the band, means that there is diversity to their sound. Although The Mylars haven't yet visited the UK, I think we should get to know them a little better, as their album most certainly put a smile on my face as I'm sure it will do to yours."

New Jersey's The Mylars hail from that state's Union City and named their debut album after the local record store, Melody Records. It makes sense because the record is an updated homage to that great period of American poprock, circa 1978-83."
